Our House

So this is what our house looked like when we first bought it. Not cute! If the outside looked this ugly you can only imagine the inside. When we first bought this house we thought that we would just fix up the inside and then sell and find something we either like or something to fix up again. Well we are now about 5 years later and we are still in the house. We got it to look good on the inside but not the outside until a few years ago. As you can see we are still here so the whole fixing and selling didn't happen. That is ok cause we really like the ward and our neighbors and love being in a cul-de-sac. Now that we are finally finish with the outside, well it can still have some more done, I thought that I would show you what our house went from to what it is now.Here we are getting a new roof. The people we bought the house said that they had fixed the roof. Well we were repairing some dry wall in the dining room and a nice big storm come through and what happened, our roof leaked. We finally got that fixed and started to work on the front yard. We didn't want to look like an old grandma's house anymore and we took out the palm tree and the gravel and put in these nice ficus trees. It is starting to come around. Well this past January was a sad day for us and the trees. When the freeze happened it killed the trees and they had to be removed. We still need to replace the trees but you can see here that we now have grass. Yeah! No more gravel.

Here we are a few weeks ago. We finally stucco the house. It looks so much better, even when it isn't painted. I love that everything looks the same and that you can't tell that the garage was added on. Now we are ready for paint.
Here is the final product. Our house is painted the shutters are on and the only thing that we need to do to finish it off is add coach lights, our address, and paint my bench some color. What color do you think I should paint my bench?
